Tara Reid started with commercials in her early years and later made heads turn when she appeared on Saved by the Bell: The New Class. Even though her acting talents have been under the scanner she's certainly performed the roles she's played with elan. Her big break was when she starred as Bunny on the set of The Big Lebowski. This film marked a significant step towards her professional career. Reid began receiving more offers from films such as Urban Legend, Cruel Intentions and other similar projects. American Pie, the cult film that chronicles teenage sexual encounters and interactions with girls, which Reid was playing as Vicky as the woman who is virginal in the film. The film did not lead to a big, successful Hollywood career. Reid had several misfires with films that failed, such as Josie and the Pussycats. Her career waned despite a small role as a character in American Pie 2. Her offscreen mishaps, well-publicized and disastrous plastic surgery as well as her numerous performances that have been a blink and miss, has made her more of a party-goer or designer as an actor.
