Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy (born on the 17th October 1992) was born on 17 October 1992, and is an Indian actress. She has a prominent role in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films. The actress was awarded the National Film Awards' Best Actress award for portraying Savitri an character in the Telugu film Mahanati (2018). The film also won three SIIMA Awards were also given to her. Also, she received an Filmfare Award South. Keerthy Kumar's parents are film producer G. Suresh Kumar & actress Menaka G. Suresh. She started her career as a child performer at the beginning of 2000 and went back to film after studying fashion design. She was the lead in Geethaanjali, a Malayalam-language film. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy signed her first Tamil projects in the year 2015. She then began accepting projects out of Malayalam. Her debut film was A. A. Vijay's romantic comedic Idhu Enna Maayam (2015) with Vikram Prabhu. The film didn't do well in the theater. Because of her hectic schedule, in 2015 she was forced to pull out of films which she was already doing work, such as Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye or Deekay's Kavalaivendam. This meant that she worked on two films, Rajini Murugan followed by Remo featuring Sivakarthikeyan. Dhanush also played in the role of Thodari as Thodari in Prabhu Solomon's Thodari. In 2015, the film was delayed. Reports suggest that Janakitho Nenu will be released in September of 2020. In the year 2016 Nenu Sailaja which starred Ram Pothineni, was her debut. In January of 2017, Keerthy appeared in Bairavaa, opposite actor Vijay and produced by Bharathan. She was in Tamil film Paambhu satai and Telugu film Nenu Local both in 2017.
